Cortex App

Pair Cortex Go with your NVR or DVR via QR code to get live view, playback and alerts on your phone — available on iPhone and Android.

Install the app from the App Store or Play Store.
Open the app and tap "Add" on the welcome screen.
Tap "Scan QR Code".
On the NVR, right-click, log in, then right-click again and select P2P.
Scan the QR code shown on the NVR with your phone.
Enter the NVR's login details and give it a name to finish.

Puretech

Puretech App

The official Puretech companion app for quick remote access — view live cameras, get push alerts and manage devices straight from your phone.

Download and install Puretech from your app store.
Open the app and create or sign in to your account.
Tap the "+" icon on the top right to add a device.
Select "Scan QR Code" and scan the code from your device menu.
Enter your system credentials to authorize access.
Save the device to view live streams and receive push notifications.

How do I reset my DVR/NVR admin password?

To reset your system password, you can request a dynamic code through the security prompt on the local interface, or refer to our General Setup & Password Reset Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Which mobile app should I use for my recorder?

Depending on your recorder series, you can use either Cortex Go or the standard Puretech App. Both allow seamless scanning of the system's P2P QR code to enable mobile live views and push notifications.

Where can I find PC or Mac client management software?

What should I do if my cameras show offline on the mobile app?

First verify that the network cable is securely attached to your router/switch and check that P2P status displays as "Online" inside your NVR/DVR Network menu. For specific error codes, see our Error Codes Guide.
